Activo is a national IP infrastructure and Technology Integrator. With Offices across Canada, Activo offers a broad suite of solutions to its customers, ranging from Cloud-based service to Infrastructure Construction, including National Rollouts. We are expanding our operations and seeking a passionate and driven Branch Manager to lead the establishment and growth of our new branch and territory.
As the Branch Manager for our new territory, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business. You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and establishing strong relationships within the local tech community. Your business acumen and leadership skills will be critical in ensuring the success and profitability of our branch.
- Branch Establishment: Take the lead in setting up and managing our new branch, including overseeing logistics, hiring, and infrastructure setup.
- Territory Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to expand our presence in the territory, identifying growth opportunities and potential clients.
- Hiring and Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of talented professionals, including field technicians and support staff. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure the team’s success.
- Business Acumen: Utilize your in-depth understanding of the telecommunication industry to make informed decisions, optimize operations, and drive profitability.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including budget management, resource allocation, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of branch management experience with a working knowledge of cabling infrastructure, security systems, AV systems, Wireless IP and ITS providing a framework for the preparation and monitoring of various single and multi-location projects.
- Proven experience in the telecommunications industry with a deep understanding of market trends and competitive landscape.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional business acumen with a track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Clean and valid Class 5 Driver’s license or another provincial equivalent; a driver’s abstract will be needed.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable laws, codes and industry regulations
- Financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented.
- RCMP background check will be required.
- Bilingual in English/French is a must.
