All projects are unique and take on different forms that present many degrees of uncertainty. Managing these projects dictate that organizations divide them into manageable pieces called project phases. Collectively these phases are known as the project life cycle. The project life cycle methodology is divided into five project phases: initiation, planning and design, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing.

Upon initiation, we’ll complete an audit of your current network, reviewing what your network will need and providing recommendations. From there we will work with you to design a custom plan for your rollout, ensuring you have the upgrades you need and the bandwidth necessary to support your business, all while keeping your network scalable for future growth.

Once approved, our team will work on execution of the project nationwide. Once executed, Activo’s team of experts will monitor the changes; our long-term warranties, exhausting equipment testing, and personal support services will be available to you as long as you need.

Activo maintains six physical locations across Canada, which allows us to deliver a significant portion of national rollout work using our own teams. For areas beyond those regions, we work with a network of trusted local partners who meet our technical standards and follow our installation and documentation protocols.

Because we manage these partnerships directly, we eliminate the cost inflation often caused by margin stacking. This approach helps control the budget, improve accountability, and maintain consistent delivery quality across all locations.

Many smaller contractors who take on large projects are forced to turn to subcontractors to complete jobs. To ensure they turn a profit on these projects, they perform something called “margin stacking”, placing the cost for their limitations in your pockets. Activo’s size ensures that we have the nationwide reach to eliminate most margin stacking, saving you money.

We also offer flat rate, per site, and per device pricing to help prevent cost overruns.

Yes. Activo delivers infrastructure projects in remote and rural areas across Canada through a national service model built on both in-house technicians and a network of qualified local partners. These partners are pre-vetted, trained to meet Activo’s installation standards, and supported by our central project team throughout each phase of the rollout.

We plan rural deployments with the same oversight, documentation, and scheduling control applied to any other site. Our coordination process accounts for travel, equipment staging, and location-specific logistics to ensure that delivery quality remains consistent, regardless of geography. Every site is tracked and verified through AIMS to maintain installation accuracy and service accountability.

Yes. We establish infrastructure standards that apply across your entire footprint, while accounting for differences in physical layout, construction, or local conditions. During the planning phase, we conduct detailed site surveys to identify location-specific variables such as space constraints, access points, or existing infrastructure. This allows us to adjust technical designs where necessary without compromising the integrity of the overall solution.

Every installation follows the same methodology, documentation process, and quality standards, ensuring that each location receives a consistent and supportable deployment.

We use a national delivery model supported by in-house teams and trained partners. Each technician follows our installation protocols and site documentation standards. Our project managers oversee scheduling, validate installation quality, and ensure that site-specific requirements are completed before the project closes. Site data is logged and stored in AIMS to support future service or upgrades.

You will have access to AIMS, Activo’s project tracking platform. AIMS provides real-time insight into deployment status by site, including scheduling, install notes, completion photos, and milestone tracking. Your project manager provides centralized communication and coordinates updates across all sites.

Post-installation support is included as part of the rollout engagement. All issues are tracked through AIMS and managed by our support team. Depending on the issue, we coordinate resolution through remote troubleshooting, technician dispatch, or warranty repair. Long-term service agreements are also available where extended support is required.
