Description du Poste
Activo souhaite embaucher des techniciens de câblage intermédiaires/séniors ayant 2 à 4 ans d’expérience dans l’installation, la terminaison et la mise à l’essai de câblages cuivre et fibre optique.

Aperçu du Rôle
Le technicien sera responsable de l’installation, de la terminaison et de la mise à l’essai de systèmes en cuivre Cat 5E/6/6A et en fibre optique MM/SM, ainsi que de l’installation de baies, de cabinets, d’équipements réseau, de points d’accès et de téléphones.
Rémunération
Poste à temps plein, 28$ à 35$/heure.
Les avantages sociaux sont offerts après trois (3) mois d’emploi.
Compétences Techniques
Le prérequis pour ce poste est un minimum de quatre (4) années d’expérience sur le terrain.
Le ou la technicien(ne) principal(e) devra maîtriser les compétences techniques suivantes.
Cette personne sera formée pour travailler avec un contremaître et se perfectionner dans les domaines suivants:
- Habillage et terminaisons de panneaux de raccordement en cuivre
- Terminaisons de fibres optiques
- Cheminements et espaces de câblage

Responsabilités
- Travailler en collaboration avec le personnel de soutien interne et le Centre national de soutien à la clientèle pour toutes les demandes de service et MAC.
- Réceptionner tout le matériel, l’équipement et les fournitures achetés par l’entreprise et liés aux billets qui vous sont assignés, et entrer les quantités reçues dans le système.
- Assumer la responsabilité de la performance financière des mandats qui vous sont confiés (heures prévues, matériel, etc.).
- Mettre à jour tous les billets concernant les travaux complétés via l’appareil mobile d’entreprise.
- Fournir et téléverser dans le système tous les documents finaux, mises à jour et informations requises par les clients pour les demandes de service, de MAC ou de soutien.
- Maintenir en tout temps une relation positive avec les représentants des clients et le personnel de l’entreprise.
- Veiller à ce que les outils, équipements de test et outillage de terminaison fournis par l’entreprise soient maintenus en bon état.
- Respecter toutes les politiques RH, procédures et pratiques de santé et sécurité, y compris la politique de sécurité des conducteurs.
- Effectuer tout travail de manière sécuritaire, selon les plus hauts standards de qualité et en respectant la conception technique fournie par le client.

About the Position:
Activo is looking to hire full-time Intermediate/Senior Cable Technicians with 2 – 4 years of proven experience installing, terminating, and testing a variety of copper and fibre optic cabling types.

Role Description
Overview
The technician will be involved in the installation, termination, and testing of Cat 5E/6/6A copper systems and MM/SM fibre optic cabling systems. Work may also include installing racks/cabinets, rack-and-stack network hardware, access points, placing telephone sets, and other similar work.
Compensation
This is a full-time, hourly-paid position at $28–$35 an hour. Company benefits are also included after three (3) months of employment
Technical Expertise
The prerequisite for this position is four (4) years of prior field experience. The Senior Technician will focus on the following additional technical skills. This technician will be trained to work with a Foreman, focused on learning the following technical requirements of this position.

Responsibilities
- Work cooperatively with company support staff and the National Customer Support Centre for any Service and/or MAC requests.
- Receive of all company purchased materials, hardware, etc., that are related to your assigned tickets, and enter all quantities received in tickets for receiving materials.
- Accept accountability for the financial performance (budget hours, materials, etc.) of the work you are assigned.
- Ensure to update all tickets for work completed through the Company-owned Smartphone device.
- Ensure that you provide and upload into the system all final documents, updates and information required by the customers for any Service, MAC or support requests.
- At all times, we must maintain a positive relationship with the customer representative and all company staff.
- Ensure all company-owned tools, test or termination equipment provided are kept in good working order
- Adherence to all HR policies, procedures, and health & safety practices, including the Company Employee Drivers Safety policy.
- Complete all work in a safe manner, with the highest quality standards, while adhering to the technical design of the work as provided by the customer.
