Description du Poste
Activo souhaite embaucher des techniciens de câblage intermédiaires/séniors ayant 2 à 4 ans d’expérience dans l’installation, la terminaison et la mise à l’essai de câblages cuivre et fibre optique.

Exigences Générales

- Capacité de voyager au Québec et de rester à l’extérieur pour de courtes périodes
- Maîtrise de MS Word, Excel et logiciels courants
Aperçu du Rôle
Le technicien sera responsable de l’installation, de la terminaison et de la mise à l’essai de systèmes en cuivre Cat 5E/6/6A et en fibre optique MM/SM, ainsi que de l’installation de baies, cabinets, équipements réseau, points d’accès et téléphones.
Rémunération
Poste à temps plein, 24$ à 28$/heure.
Les avantages sociaux sont offerts après trois (3) mois d’emploi.
Expertise Technique
Un minimum de 2 ans d’expérience sur le terrain est requis. Le technicien développera des compétences additionnelles, notamment:
- Habillage et terminaison de panneaux de brassage cuivre
- Terminaisons fibre
- Chemins de câbles et espaces techniques
- Installation et mise à la terre de baies et cabinets
- Installation de chemins de câbles
- Calfeutrage coupe-feu
- Mise à l’essai et diagnostics de câbles
Responsabilités
- Maintenir une relation professionnelle avec les représentants du client
- Garder en bon état les outils et équipements de test fournis
- Respecter toutes les politiques RH, les procédures de santé et sécurité et les normes de qualité
- Réaliser le travail de manière sécuritaire et conforme aux plans techniques du client
- Contribuer à la satisfaction complète de la clientèle

Avoir en tout temps l’ÉPI (équipement de protection individuelle) suivant :
- Chaussures de sécurité à embout vert

About the Position:
Activo is looking to hire full-time Intermediate/Senior Cable Technicians with 2 – 4 years of proven experience installing, terminating, and testing a variety of copper and fibre optic cabling types.

Role Description
Overview
The technician will be involved in the installation, termination, and testing of Cat 5E/6/6A copper systems and MM/SM fibre optic cabling systems. Work may also include installing racks/cabinets, rack-and-stack network hardware, access points, placing telephone sets, and other similar work.
Compensation
This is a full-time, hourly-paid position at $24–$28 an hour. Company benefits are also included after three (3) months of employment.
Technical Expertise
The prerequisite for this position is two (2) years of prior field experience. The Intermediate Technician will focus on the following additional technical skills. The technician will be trained on the job site and will attend OEM-related courses focused on learning the following technical requirements of this position.

- Ensure all company-owned tools, test or termination equipment provided are kept in good working order

- Complete all work in a safe manner to the highest quality standards, while adhering to the technical design of the work provided by the customer
- Ensure 100% customer satisfaction, objectives are maintained in all aspects of the responsibilities in this role
