Activo recently partnered up with Meru Networks on a large project for Columbia College to install a comprehensive wireless network with approx 150 access points. We have completed installation on both teaching campuses Ainsliewood and Maple Hall and are in the process of installing wireless infrastructure systems on three more locations.
1.9 billion Wi-Fi devices are expected to hit wireless networks by 2014 (based on a forecast Meru conducted recently). That is an enormous number, but not surprising to us here at Activo. We continue to hear from CIOs and IT Directors across industries that the number of mobile devices they’re running on their networks is simply exploding.
Our partners Meru, invites you to attend a free webinar to learn how Meru Networks’ Identity Manager suite greatly simplifies secure guest access and automates device provisioning in Bring-Your-Own Device (BYOD) environments.
Join Niall El-Assaad, Director of Product Management, and Anita Pandey, VP of Product and Vertical Marketing to learn how you can be prepared for the wave of mobile devices coming onto your network.
In this webinar, you will learn how to:
• Detect and authenticate users and devices as they connect to your wireless LAN
• Provide self service guest management so easy the lobby admin can do it without IT help
• Automatically provision devices for secure 802.1x network connectivity, and consistent with your security policies
• Drastically reduce the IT burden associated with connecting user devices
We look forward to your participation, so bring your toughest questions!
